Ingredients
  • 220 g 8oz. potatoes
  • 2 tbsp. Katakuriko potato starch or corn starch
  • Sauce
  • * 2 tbsp. sugar
  • * 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • * 2 tbsp. Mirin sweet Sake
  • 2 tbsp. cooking oil
  • 1/2 Nori sheet
Instructions
  1. • Mix the sauce. Cut Nori sheet into 8 strips.
  2. • Wash and clean the potatoes. With the skins, place it on a microwavable dish, cover with plastic wrap, then microwave at 600w for 5 minutes until you can insert a fork or a bamboo stick. Remove the skins then mash.
  3. • Add Katakuriko (potato starch) then knead by hand.
  4. • Divide it into 8, then roll into flat circles. If they crack, moist your hand with water then roll again.
  5. • Heat cooking oil (about 2 tbsp.) in a frying pan, cook both sides of potato Mochi until crisp golden brown.
  6. • Remove the excess oil with a paper towel. Stop the heat, then add the sauce and cook with the remaining heat until the sauce thickens. You can heat more if the sauce is still not thick
  7. • Nicely coat the potato Mochi with sauce, then wrap in Nori. 
  8. • Yummy if you add some cheese in the center
  9. • Best eaten on the day you make but yes, you can keep in the fridge then microwave.
  10. • .You can also freeze them at step 3. Wrap individual potato Mochi in plastic wrap. When you eat, cook in the pan frozen.

  • Corn flour-3tbsp

  • Kashmiri Chilli powder-1tsp
  • Oil-for deep frying
  • Ginger-1tsp
  • Garlic-1tbsp
  • Onion-1/2 of 1
  • Capsicum-1/4 of 1
  • Green chilli-4
  • Dry red chilli-4
  • Soya sauce -2tbsp
  • Chilli Sauce -2tbsp
  • Tomato ketchup -2tbsp
  • Vinegar-1tsp
  • Salt-
  • Sugar-1 1/2tsp
  • Sesame oil -1tsp
  • Corn flour -1/2tsp in 1 tbsp
  • Spring Onion-
Instructions
  1. 1.peel and cut potato into medium thick pieces Soak for 10 minutes and then drain In a bowl add cornflour,salt and chilli powder mix well,To this add potato and mix keep aside for 15 minutes
  2. 2.Now heat oil and deep fry the potato,In a wok ,add ginger,garlic,dry red chilli and green chilli Saute for few seconds Then add onion cubes and saute
  3. 3.Now add capsicum and saute Then add chilli sauce ,soya sauce ,tomato ketup ,sugar ,vinegar mix well,add boiled water and boil now add saltcheck the taste adjust.
  4. 4.Now add 1 tbsp corn flour mix(add 1tsp corn flour in 1tbsp of water )mix well and cook,finally add fried potato and mix well,sprinkle some sesame oil and finally add chopped green onions So the tasty potato chilli dry is ready to serve best with fried rice.

  • 3 boiled potato
  • 1 chopped capsicum
  • 2 tbs chopped coriander
  • 1 chopped green chilli
  • 3 tbscorn flour
  • 3 tbs maida
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • cheese cubes
  • water
  • 1 tspoon oregano
  • 1 ts red chilli flakes
  • salt
  • 1/2 ts ginger paste
Instructions
  1. take a mixing bowl add boiled potato and mash it now add capsicum,coriander,green chilli,ginger paste,oregano,red chilli flakes,salt ,2 tbs corn flour,2 tbs maida mix it well

  2. make a soft dough take some oil on your palm and makes balls take a cheese qube ,place it on center of ball and seal it all balls are ready.
  3. now take a mixing bowl add 1 tbspoon corn flour add water and make a very thin paste take a plate and place bread crumbs on it.

  4. now take a potato ball first dip in maida paste ,take out and cover it with bread crumbs,cover all the balls.

  5. place balls in fridge for about 30-60 minutes,heat oil in a pan and take out balls from fridge.

  6. .now fry all balls on high flame,serve potato balls with tomato sauce.

  • 2.5 Lb Redskin Potatoes
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3/4 tsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/8 tsp White Pepper
  • 7 ea Strips of Bacon Cooked & Chopped
  • 3/4 cup Sharp Cheddar Cheese Shredded or Crumbled
  • 1/3 cup Sour Cream
  • 3 Tbl Fresh Chives Finely Chopped
Instructions
  1. Cook and drain your potatoes.
  2. Just before they are finished cooking combine the cream, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and white pepper in a small sauce pan.
  3. Bring to a boil and stir well
  4. In a large mixing bowl combine the redskin potatoes and cream mixture. Mash until smooth
  5. Add the final 4 ingredients and briefly mix
  6. Taste, and add more salt and pepper to suit your pallet.
  7. For a richer final product add an additional 1/3 of a cup of sour cream

Ingredients
  • Potatoes 3 medium size boiled and mashed
  • Boneless chicken 400g
  • Eggs 2
  • Coriander leaves 5 tbsp
  • Breadcrumbs 1/2 cup
  • Cornflakes 1/2 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Red chili powder 1 Tsp
  • Crushed black pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1/3 tsp
  • Roasted crushed cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder 1/3 tsp
  • Green chilli 3
  • Ginger & garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  • Cooking oil 1+1/2 tbsp
Instructions
  1. Marinate the chicken with salt, red chili powder, crushed black pepper, turmeric powder, roasted/crushed cumin seeds,garam masala,lemon juice, ginger garlic & chili paste, mix it well, let it rest for 15-20 minutes.

  2. Put a pan on a flame, then after 20 minutes cook chicken well in a pan until it gets the cook, then let the chicken get cool and then shredded it
  3. Place shredded chicken, mashed potatoes, green chili, coriander leaves in a bowl, mash/mix all the ingredients well with hands or fork, until there are no lumps, then shape it into flat cutlets, dip each cutlet in egg and lightly coat it with bread crumbs and corn flakes.
  4. Let it rest in a refrigerator for 15 minutes and then shallow fry it

Ingredients
  • 2 beetroots boiled
  • For the mashed potatos
  • 5-6 medium size potato boiled
  • 1/2 lemon juice salt, 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • fresh chopped dill optional
also need:
  • 2 big size carrots grated and sauteed in 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • about more then 1/2 cup plain Turkish yo?urt add grated garlic if you prefer
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste sauteed with 1 tablespoon olive oil and added about 1tbsp water for a pourable consistensy
  • fresh parsley leaves to garnish
Instructions
  1. 1.Cut the tops and the ends of beet roots and boil in the water until soft,Boil the potatos in another pan until soft and when they are still warm peel the skins of Mash them with potato masher,
  2. 2.Heat a small pan and add olive oil,Add grated carrots and sautee about 4 minutes until soft Season with some salt,To mashed potatos add lemon juice, olive oil, salt and rep pepper flakes and mix well.
  3. If you like you can add chopped fresh dill to make it even more colourful and tasty Peel the cooled beetroots and grate with the thicker side of the grater
  4. Now add half of the potato puree in the grated root beets and mix weel.
  5. 5.Get a spoonful of the potato mixture and shape it like a bowl,You can shape the potato purees seperately but if you like you can get some puree from both of them and make a two coloured potato bowls like i did.
  6. 6.Now add the grated carrots inside the bowls Garnish them with piece of parsley leaves and Turkish yogurt, plain or mixed with pureed garlic And finally add tomato paste sauteed in olive oil and you are done!
