- 2 lbs chook
- 2 lbs onions, sliced thinly
- 1 cup low-sodium broth (or home made bone broth)
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp ghee, melted
- 1 tsp coconut aminos
- 1 tsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- half of tsp salt
- Add half of of the onions to the bottom of the slow cooker. Add fowl on top of onions. Add final onions on top.
- In a small bowl, blend together sauce ingredients.
- Pour sauce on top of chicken.
- Cook HIGH three-4 hours or LOW five-6.
